Marriott has launched a new promotion. It is very simple. You get at all Marriott Hotels worldwide 2,500 points per stay. After your third stay, you get an additional 5,000 points. The points will be awared with the first stay. You need to regiter for this promotion on the promotion landing page.

Buy Marriott Bonvoy Points
You can buy Marriott Bonvoy Points for 12.50 USD per 1,000 Points. It is possible to buy up to 50,000 Points in a calendar year. There is no bonus, the more miles you buy. You have to be a member of the Marriott Bonvoy for at least 30 day to be eligible to buy points and need to have a qualifiying activity in this time such as a hotels stay or credit card transaction. If you do not have this, you could only buy miles after 90 days.
Cost for buying points are
- 1,000 points: 12.50 USD
- 5,000 points: 62.50 USD
- 10,000 points: 125.00 USD
- 15,000 points: 187.50 USD
- 30,000 points: 375.00 USD
- 50,000 points: 625.00 USD
Marriott Bonvoy partners with Points.com if it comes to buying points. In so far, this is not a transaction at Marriott. You can also transfer Marriott Bonvoy Points to a number of frequent flyer programms. Among those are some, which do not let you buy miles. In so far, buying Bonvoy Points and transfer them is a way to buy miles in these programms.
3 Bonvoy Points are 1 Miles in most programs. If you transfer 60,000 Bonvoy Points you get a bonus of 15,000 Points. This means you get 25,000 Miles.

Welcome Back Rates
The Welcome Back Rates are valid for hotels in Africa, Middle East and Europe. These rates offer a discount of 25% and free breakfast for up to two persons staying in the same room. For non Marriott Bonvoy Members the discount is only 15% and breakfast is not included. Rates are valid till end of September, though this depends on hotels. Valid in all brands except Luxury Collection, St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton. You find these rates

The discount depends on each indiviual hotels. In some case, this is not the cheapest rates. Valid only in Luxury Collection, St. Regis and Ritz-Carlton. For stays in The Americas, the Bonvoy Escpaes are available again. You save 25% at particiapting hotels and resorts as a Bonvoy Member and 20% if you are not. The sepcial Escapes Rates is available at hotels for the next four
weekends and at resorts at all days for the next four weeks.
Currently, this offers is only available in "The Americas". Before Covid19, it was avaialbale worldwide. The deals is not available all the time but only every second weekd between Wednesday and Sunday.
